Product description
This marks the third Sunday in Advent. In this Bible reading we learn how crowds of people believed in the words of John the Baptist, and travelled to the river Jordan to be baptized by him.
Lesson Plan Outline:
The teacher is encouraged to talk to the children about sharing, and use examples of John the Baptist who invited people to share what they had, and be honest and true to those around them.
Craft Activity: Sand Pictures
Teacher and pupils will make sand picture of John living in the desert.
The activity pack contains cut-out of locusts to add to the picture, and instructions on how to make other features such as John’s clothing, his beard, and features of the desert.
